The goal of our lives is to make God smile and this is related to serving the purpose of  pleasing God.

How to make God smile?
1. Love Him - as stated in the book of Matthew, the first and greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your soul. I try to think of Him as a dear loved one to whom I can spend time with, make efforts to serve Him, and avoid for Him to be sad. I consider Him to be my priority.
2. Trust God completely - There are times that I find it difficult to trust Him completely. And I know He is sad about it but don't you worry dear Lord, I will make ammends and strengthen my faith and trust in You.
3. Immediate obedience - Tithes is my biggest challenge nowadays since I looked into giving my money to the expenses we have at home. But little by little I am giving my tithes, not fully but I will get there in time. Also sin prevents me to obey because of the temptations around me, teasing and convincing me every single day. The holy spirit knows and identifies what is wrong and right. And so the holy spirit also helps me to resist the temptation and focus myself to obeying God.
4. Praise and Thank Him - who doesnt like to be praised and be appreciated? ofcourse we like that but what more God? we are here because of Him, we can breathe because of Him, experience life because of Him and even the smallest thing ever existed is something to be thankful of.
5. Use our abilities - God gave us gifts to use them for good not to use them in sin. I have lots of talents says my friends and family but I'm sometimes shy and ashamed of myself. I lack confidence and fear that I will fail and that my output will not be good enough. But then God still wants me to use them. He really makes a way for me to use them when you least expect it or never thought of.

God wants to feel the presence of his creation as much as we want to feel the presence of our creator. He loves us and expects to be loved as well. We are created out of His love and also because of this love we were saved. Giving it all back to God is a great great challenge but we are excited to do it because by this He will smile and be happy - this is my goal in life.
