The Gospel Acclamation today says that "Remain faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.", with the words Remain faithful as the phrase with the strongest message I have read today.

We all know that building your faith to God is one step towards living your life that follows His words and holiness. This itself is one difficult task to do. But what more is to remain faithful to Him?

The world is full of strong forces that can create blocks and detours to our road towards God, trying to break our faithfulness in each day we live and breathe in Him. There are bad vices, people who have different beliefs and perspectives, lusts, temptations and materialistic desires in this world that can keep us away from God. Most of the times, only one among these things can instantly ruin our faith in Him.

But I believe the key to remaining faithful to God is believing that no matter how many times we fall down because of our undesirable deeds, He will still be there for us, and embrace us in His arms as long as we repent for our sins and make up to Him in more ways we can.

Also, a man who is upholding his faith through constant prayers and asking for forgiveness, I am confident to say that God will see that person's sincerity that he is faithful and will continue to be faithful despite of his flaws.

I pray that whenever you fall down, and you believe that your faith lessens, never ever think that God will turn His back away from you. He is a loving Father; therefore He will forgive us and accept us again. 

God loves us so much. Should we hurt Him? 

NO.

He gave His son, Jesus Christ for us to be forgiven from our sins. Should we do something that will disappoint Him? 

NO.

With just these thoughts, do you now have an excuse not to remain faithful to Him?

There should be none.
