Worry no more

11:23 PM

"People will die of fright in anticipation of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." Luke 21:26-27

Earlier today, I have been staring at my laptop screen while thinking of a way on how I can tell my team that there is something wrong with what they're doing. Not that I don't trust them, but I am with them to guide on how to do our practice effectively.

Being a softie that I am on the inside, I spent the next minutes worrying. One voice tells me not to tell them because they might brush me off and think I'm too strict and controlling; another tells me that you can find a way, just calm down and think about what to say. Eventually, I chose the latter. Gathering all the courage I have in my body, I carried out the approach I came up with. Thanks to God, I was able to tell them my point.

Worry shakes us up everytime we are challenged to do something outside of our comfort zone. But Jesus told us in the gospel today that when we feel like we're pushed to the limit, it is the time that God appears and saves us.

We don't need to worry no more; all we need to do is ask for God's help and guidance. He can provide us everything we need to overcome the challenge. He tests our weaknesses so He transform them to be our strengths.

Lord, thank you for giving me the courage to share my perspective to the team. Guide me so I can continuously carry out my job properly. Thank you for the blessings You have given me this day. Amen.
