"When you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified; for such things must happen first, but it will not immediately be the end." Luke 21:9

Christmas season is near, the season of giving. It is the time when children will be looking forward to the gifts that they will receive. For me, I know I've already outgrown waiting until midnight to open the gifts under the Christmas tree. However, there is one gift that I'm looking forward to opening everyday - my eyes.

Our life is God's greatest gift. Every morning when we open our eyes is the time we receive His gift. A new day is given for us to win all our battles and experience greater things. 

Here's a catch - everyday may not be a good day right? Yes, I agree. But like what Jesus told us, we will experience challenges for these things should happen. Why, you may ask. Why would God want me to feel this way? Why will He give me such trials? Do not be afraid. This is God's way of shaping us up to be a better person; to be equipped with the character we need to live life to the fullest. 

Today may not be a great day. Don't worry. Tomorrow may be one.

Lord, thank you for another chance to live this life. Grant me the strength to move forward and embrace the tomorrow You have for me. Amen.
