Surrounded by an Enemy
12:47 PM
Our biggest enemy is the devil. He can take us down, and can pull us away from our attachment to God. He can also change our beliefs and
perspectives on being humble and holy, and can do many other things we might
not expect to happen. Each day we will experience this, despite of how much faithful
we are to God.
The devil gets
angrier and does more imprudent things when we become holier, more faithful and
more serving to God’s will and desires. As we grow to become His likeness, the
devil senses of losing another person that he can influence, and he will try to take us
back to him from God by exposing us to temptations of the flesh and earthly things, so he can be more powerful.
But the key to fight this enemy is to always keep in our hearts
and minds the truth that can pave a way for us to enter God’s kingdom. This
truth is that we are all His beloved children, and that we will be with Him
someday regardless of how much sins we have committed, as long as we have asked
for His forgiveness, we have repented, we have repaired the damages made, and we commit to Him of not doing the same sins ever again.
Through this, we can endure until the very end the temptations
that the devil can bring to us all. Let us continue focusing on God’s will and
desires – through worship, helping others who are in greater need, and
spreading the words He laid upon to us to be heard. With these steps, we can make
our faith to Him much stronger, to repel the devil’s force that will keep on breaching
our walls until the end.
