One of our purpose in life is to give God pleasure. Why? You may ask. Simply it's because God created us for his pleasure.

The reason we want to be pleased, feel happiness and satisfaction is that we are created in His likeness. We feel those because God also feels them. And we are created for this purpose... to please Him.

I was so busy thinking of myself back then. Thinking what I want, what should I wear, what should I buy, what can make me happy. And when I got to have someone to share my life with my thinking changed to what does he want, how can I make him happy, how can I please him, what can I do for him, what can I buy him, will he love me more if I wear clothes like that or will he be happy if I give him something. But when I finally got out of those things I found myself with no identity. I don't know who I was and search for my meaning.

I know God was there and always been there for me but it was this one time I opened up my heart to Him. And little by little I am seeing my purpose and who I am. At first, I find it difficult but because the Lord helps me, everyday seems so light and happy.

And now that one purpose of my life was revealed to me I will do it whole-heartedly more than I did for myself and for my Ex.

Worshipping God is the best way to please Him. When I sing, when I pray, when I use the talents He gave me, when I work, when I cook, serve the church, give my tithes and offering, help people, show love for them especially for my family and friends, I will worship Him and do all these things for His glory.

I will please God more than He pleases me, I declare this in the Lord's name Jesus and through You my Christ I can make God our Father, happy.
