We Cannot Please Everybody
11:54 PM
Today I ultimately felt that there are people in my social media circle who don't talk and catch up with me anymore for being God's follower.
Before, I used to have friends who would text me and ask how I am doing, while some would message me in Facebook to say "Hi" and have short conversations. But today, after reading the Gospel about proclaiming God's words and not being able to please everybody, I felt I'm in the position wherein I'm starting to know who will stay for me, who has the same goals as me in terms of spiritual relationship with God, and who doesn't care on such matter.
But the good thing is, I also felt that this is a good start to live life according to His will - to keep away the sources of bad things that can be toxic to my daily life, and choosing a new path to drive forward. Also, I became more eager to share His words through social media, for any possibility that I have already influenced someone out there to come back to God's loving embrace.
I pray that I will become stronger and not be brought down by these events of losing contact to many people, for I believe God makes this happen for me to labor more in sharing His words to many others. I also pray that you will continue proclaiming God's words to others, without putting force just for somebody to start having faith, for when they realize God's essence in their lives, they will surely take action and you will be the medium of their faith to Him.

I somehow feel you since I tend to please everyone back then. But we should not. Let's focus now on pleasing God. Though we may lose a lot of people as long as we don't lose God we will always gonna be alright!
