Jesus is The Way

10:17 AM

"In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence." (Ephesians 3:12)

Approach God through Jesus Christ without hesitations and without fear.

God reminds us that Jesus is the way towards Him. As long as we have faith in Jesus, we can face God and communicate with Him.

When I was not Yet a believer, I often turn away to God, not even praying and going to church. Or if I had gone to church I don't take the communion. And this was because of believing that if I committed a sin I should not do those things because of shame and that I should confess first. I ask forgiveness from God but I did not repent. I still do the same sins, at first felt guilty and then find it normal because others are also doing it.

And I did know about the gospel about Jesus that He is the truth, the light and the way. But I didn't know the true meaning of it back then. I just knew that He is the son of God and that He gave up His life for us. I did not talk to Him much and was quite confused if I could talk straight to God or is enough to talk to Jesus.

Jesus is the way as said in the Gospel. Through Him and by faith in Him all the shame were gone away, hesitations are removed and the sins were all behind me. And how can I not to talk to God if I have Jesus to support me? He who has taken away all of the reasons why I should not. He who will not cause me to sin again and continue to carry my cross through the rest of my days. Surely, Jesus will hold my hand as I talk to God and he will provide me the confidence to be infront of his Father.

Lord, I thank you for today, keeping me alive and safe. Thank you for showing me that you are the way to the Father and that you can give me confidence and support as I approach Him everyday. I will never be ashamed again because of the faith I have in you. This faith that cleanses my heart and washed away my sins, let's work together to make it stronger and deeper. And if that day comes that I will have to face God, I know that I will be ready because you have been there all my life. Again, I thank you and love you. In your mighty name, I pray. Amen.
