Not by Law but by Faith

8:08 PM

know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified... “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
(Galatians 2:16‭, ‬19‭-‬20)

When I accepted Christ, I died and was risen but I no longer live for myself but I live for Him through faith.

The law indicated in this verse were the commandments made before Christ's first coming. And by this law, all had sinned and all were justified. But God, out of His love for us, made the greatest move so that we can still be saved. And that is through Jesus. God sacrificed His only son to lift our justifications from our sins and gave us the ultimate chance to live a new life, be born again and live by faith through Christ. By this, we are new creations, free from sin. Our old self has begone and the new replaced it. And by faith, Paul said, we are justified by it, so as long as we believe in the Lord and trust Him, everything comes next - no more sins, no more guilt nor condemnation, we are saved.

Every day God reminds me how He loves me and how He called me to give me a new life and a perfect chance to know Him. His love alone gives me joy and keeps me smiling, moving on from difficult situations, getting me out of great challenges. And yes the enemy does not like it so it continues to attack me. But I will never let God down and will continue to hold on to His love. Because I know He did everthing He can to save me from death and all He wanted is to be with me forever. I love you Lord and I really want to be with you so I will keep my faith grow stronger and deeper until my last breath on earth.
