Have A Positive Outlook

5:24 PM

At times of difficulties, we often focus in achieving a goal - to accomplish the objective and be successful. But in between these things, the real struggles can cause us distress, pain, disappoinment and frustration that can totally pin us down.

In the Gospel today, I have read that Elijah came down from the mountaintop, and had arrived first before his cousin Jesus Christ. I view that mountaintop as "a place where the greatness of God comes from", as he sent Elijah (in the person of John the Baptist) from it.

God sent Elijah to the world in preparation of Jesus' coming. The world is full of negativity, including when we are in the middle of our difficulties. But if He was able to send Elijah first before Jesus, for me it only means one thing - ahead of success that were already laid to us, there is a something before that success that God will first send to us to be ultimately successful. These can happen by knowing different people or receiving things that will help us prepare for Jesus as he comes into our lives. His coming is the success, achievements, rewards or other fruits of our very hard labor. All we have to do is remain positive and have faith that "there's always a rainbow after the rain."

I pray that we will see God as our goal in surpassing our challenges and struggles in life, because it is only through Him that we will be successful both in this world and in His side.
